NAD+
Longevity & Mitochondrial · 500 mg fill · Research Peptide
The oxidized form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a redox coenzyme studied as the substrate of sirtuin and PARP enzymes.
Overview
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a dinucleotide coenzyme present in every living cell, not a peptide. It carries electrons between the redox reactions of glycolysis, the citric-acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation, and it is the consumed substrate of the sirtuin deacylases, the PARP DNA-repair enzymes and CD38. Preclinical literature tracks tissue NAD+ levels against age and metabolic state. Supplied lyophilized for in-vitro research use.
